Volant 7000

The Volant 7000 is a piste ski from Atomic’s premium Volant range, 74 to 78 mm underfoot, for skiers who stay on the groomers all day. Atomic builds it in Austria and says its wider profile and stainless-steel construction handle morning corduroy and afternoon slush alike, in precise turns or long, flowing arcs.

An ash and poplar core gives stability and damping at speed, and two steel layers add edge grip, torsional stiffness and smooth power transfer. A light brown metal vapor coating protects the stainless-steel top. The radius is 14.7 m at 150 cm and 17.5 m at 178 cm, and Atomic lists the weight at 3,073 g per ski at 171 cm. It comes with Atomic’s MI 12 GW binding.
