Kaizen 105

The Kaizen 105 is an all-mountain ski from DPS, 105 mm underfoot, for skiers who charge in any terrain. DPS says it doesn’t believe in a true one-ski quiver, but this one comes close: it’s built for big arcing turns on groomers as much as for powder and sunbaked crud, and it favors an aggressive style.

The shape is what sets it apart in the Kaizen line. Less rocker and a longer radius than its siblings give it better edge hold at speed, DPS says, and reduced rocker and minimal tip taper keep it engaged with the snow. Full carbon paired with a split wood core adds stability and damping. It runs 40% rocker to 60% effective edge with an 18 m radius at every length, and weighs 1,590 g at 155 cm and 2,076 g at 189 cm.
