Montero AX Orea

The Orea AX is an all-mountain ski from Stöckli, 80 mm underfoot, for playful turns of every size across varied terrain. Stöckli pairs high-quality design with all-mountain performance, and calls it a playful multiturn ski at its core, with tip and tail flex technology balancing smooth skiing against stability.

The ski changes character with the edge angle. The widest point of the shovel sits forward, and with a slight rocker the contact point moves forward as the ski tilts, so it’s good-natured at low angles and more stable the harder it’s laid over. A core of light European woods is a little softer and suppler, which Stöckli says lends the ski dynamism and makes it very durable. The turn radius spans 13.5 m at 163 cm to 17.5 m at 183 cm, and Stöckli builds it in Switzerland.
