Probe Carbon 320+

The Probe Carbon 320+ is Ortovox’s longest carbon avalanche probe, developed for professional use in very deep snow. It reaches 320 cm, an extra 40 cm extension piece makes it longer still, and the rigid, ultra-light carbon gives precise handling when probing.

It’s quick to set up and easy to read. The PFA quick-assembly system and a steel tensioning cable put it together fast, a depth marker sits at 1.5 m, and a visual guide system helps the search. The large tip gets into compacted snow, and both the tip and the cable can be replaced, so the probe lasts longer. It’s certified to the UIAA 157 standard for avalanche probes and weighs 340 g.
