Pisteworks 79

The Pisteworks 79 is a carving ski from DPS, 79 mm underfoot, for skiers who want to level up their carving. DPS calls it one of the most approachable entry points into full carbon skiing: forgiving enough to build confidence on, and lively enough to grow with the skier.

A Carbon Power Plate under the binding sends the skier’s energy to the snow in a way DPS says only a full carbon ski can. DPS tuned the layup with vibration and energy simulations, for responsiveness and stability it says metal skis can’t touch. It runs 20% rocker to 80% effective edge, with a 13.5 m turn radius at every length, and weighs 1,420 g at 160 cm and 1,730 g at 181 cm. Shown in Satin Carbon Red.
