From Van Deer

The Freeride 98 is an all-terrain freeride ski from Van Deer, 98 mm underfoot, for skiers who go from groomed runs to untracked backcountry. Van Deer says it’s a favorite of Marcel Hirscher himself, and that the waist is the balance point between versatility and performance: float in powder, grip on hardpack, agility in the trees and stability at speed.

The build pairs a surfy tip rocker with a beech and poplar core reinforced with two layers of Titanal and carbon, race edges and Van Deer’s red base. The radius climbs from 16 m at 164 cm to 19 m at 188 cm, and it weighs 1,775 g at 164 cm and 2,230 g at 188 cm. Shown in Off-White.
