Avabag LiTRIC Freeride 28

The Avabag LiTRIC Freeride 28 is Ortovox’s avalanche airbag pack for freeriding, from powder days near the piste to multi-day trips. Its LiTRIC airbag is electronic, light and reliable: it charges fully over USB-C in about 25 minutes, the release can be tested any number of times at no cost, and with no cartridge there’s more space, nothing to weigh or dispose of, and no travel limits.

The pack is built around the descent. The CLASP back system, with soft pads, a wide, flexible hip belt and soft shoulder straps, sits close and still leaves full freedom of movement, and the 28 L zip-on pack swaps with other Avabag LiTRIC Freeride and Tour Zip packs on the same base. There’s front access to the main compartment, a separate safety compartment, ski, snowboard and ice axe carries, and a helmet holder. It weighs 2,590 g. Shown in Black Raven.
