Obex BC Helmet

The Obex BC Mips is a backcountry ski helmet from POC, made to speak for the wearer when they can’t. A RECCO reflector helps rescuers find them, and a Twiceme NFC chip holds emergency contacts and medical details that a first responder can read with a tap of a smartphone.

Beyond the rescue tech, it’s built for extra durability and long days in the mountains. The dual-material shell uses more durable material in the risk zones, and aramid panels between shell and EPS liner improve protection against penetration. Mips Evolve adds protection in rotational impacts. The vents are fully adjustable, and a 360-degree fit system adjusts around the whole head. It weighs 530 g in size M-L and is certified to ASTM F2040 and EN 1077B. Shown in Uranium Black Matt.
