Nexus Helmet

The Nexus Mips is Smith’s most advanced ski and snowboard helmet, made for people who spend more days on the mountain than off. It offers a layered protection system, including a durable hybrid shell, vented Koroyd throughout, Mips for angled impacts and an exoskeleton at the sides. Smith says the Koroyd absorbs more energy in a crash than foam alone.

The safety features are foundational, but the comfort and quality-of-life features are what make the Nexus stand out. Front and rear vents open and close easily with one hand, a BOA dial tightens the fit around the whole head, the lining is antimicrobial to stave off odor, and AirEvac venting keeps Smith goggles clear.
