The Electra 3 is Out Of’s third-generation ski goggle with IRID lenses, which change their tint to the light in less than a second. Its lens adapts its tint in 0.09 seconds, more than 100 times faster than regular photochromic lenses, through every tint from S1 to S3, and it needs no battery: a thin, curved solar panel in the lens is both the sensor and the power source.
The rest is made for long days on the snow. The field of view is 218°, the anti-fog coating holds for more than 300 seconds, and the frame fits over glasses and suits medium to wide faces. The red lens is darker, to cut eye strain on the brightest days. It’s made in Italy and comes with a case and a bag. Shown in Black with the IRID Red lens.
