Vassi GTX Pro II Jacket

The Vassi GTX Pro II Jacket is a men’s freeride shell from Haglöfs, developed with professional skiers and the most fully featured ski jacket in its line. It’s a three-layer GORE-TEX Pro ePE laminate without intentionally added PFAS, on a 70-denier face with a 28,000 mm hydrostatic head, in a relaxed fit, and it weighs 665 g.

Haglöfs lists the backcountry essentials: a hood that fits over a helmet and adjusts three ways, ventilation zips slanted to still work with a backpack on, and a stretchy snow skirt with a rubber grip to keep the snow out. One chest pocket hides behind the placket with a goggle wipe attached. Articulated sleeves end in hook-and-loop cuffs made for comfort with gloves on, and there’s a RECCO reflector.
