Ski Over the Calf Socks

The Ski Over the Calf Socks are Smartwool’s thinnest merino ski socks, with zero cushion for skiers who want less bulk in the boot. The knit is slim and unpadded, a breathable barrier between foot and boot, in 58% merino, 38% nylon and 4% elastane. GearJunkie named them the best zero-cushion ski socks for 2025-2026.

Thin as they are, the wear zones are reinforced. A durability knit is worked into the high-impact areas, and the toe is designed to reduce wear from the toes. Stretch and mesh zones give a performance fit, and the toe closes with a flat knit seam that’s virtually seamless. Smartwool knits them in the USA from imported yarn. Shown in Black.
