The Lofoten Gore-Tex Pro is Norrøna’s original big-mountain freeride shell, a men’s GORE-TEX Pro jacket introduced in 2004 and improved ever since. Norrøna says it’s seen as the first jacket made for freeride skiing and snowboarding, with a new cut and bold colors. The fabric is 70D x 160D three-layer GORE-TEX Pro with Gore’s PFAS-free ePE membrane and textiles that include recycled fibers.
When the weather turns, the storm hood adjusts with one hand, the asymmetric cuffs close with hook-and-loop tabs, and hand gaiters and a zip-off powder skirt seal out snow. When it warms up, two-way underarm zips and front vents open. Pockets are Napoleon style on the chest, plus a stretch inner pocket and a mesh dump pocket. It has a technical fit, with articulated sleeves and a longer back. Shown in Whisper White.
