Electron Pro Down Jacket

The Electron Pro is a men’s hooded down jacket from Rab for winter walking, climbing and shoulder-season belays, made to balance warmth against bulk. In UK size M it holds 179 g of 800-fill European goose down with a fluorocarbon-free water-resistant finish, in micro and midi baffles mapped to the body for warmth in some zones and mobility in others.

A recycled 20-denier Pertex Quantum Pro outer is tough enough for snow, spindrift and scuffs against rock at the crag, and it sheds light rain. The hood has a stiffened peak and fits under a helmet, the hand pockets clear a harness, one doubling as a stuff pocket, and the two-way front zip is belay-friendly. The fit is regular, and it weighs 477 g in size M. Shown in Black.
