Balmhorn Jacket

The Balmhorn is a men’s insulated ski jacket from Moncler Grenoble, made for skiing and snowboarding. Its shell is a two-layer plain-weave GORE-TEX laminate, waterproof, windproof and breathable, and it’s filled with down and padding in a slim fit, 73 cm long from collar to hem.

The details are what keep the weather out. The seams are heat-sealed, the front and pocket zippers are water-repellent YKK AquaGuard, and a powder skirt and adjustable cuffs seal out snow. The hood, with its visor, comes off. An integrated RECCO reflector lets organized rescue teams find the wearer in an avalanche or when lost. Moncler rates its warmth as medium, and it’s made in Romania. Shown in Black.
